At Sandford School of Dance, pupils are regularly entered for Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) examinations, which are two of the world’s leading dance examination boards.
Exams that pupils can be entered for
- RAD Ballet Grades & Vocational Graded Examinations
- ISTD Modern Grades & Vocational Graded Examinations

Upon success, pupils are rewarded with a report, certificate and for some examinations a medal, which all adds to the sense of achievement.
